 Hunter Liberty 22, Harvey (ex Fiddlers Green) Also Junk Sail etc. (see below main advert)

Harvey is ready to sail, fittes new Nasa log and echo sounder, DSC vhf radio, The engine is a Tohatsu 8hp saildrive (new 2006) charging a sealed battery, the interior and nav lights are LED. Original Cranfiel tan sails in good gondition, the main mast is sleeved, and the anchor drian has a access hatch to service the drain pipe, there are two anchors, warps, fenders two boat hooks, hand and steering compass (not fitted) 5\"  monochrome Interphase Chart-Plotter, GPS, single ring camping stove, sea toilet, clock and barometer, All sea cocks replaced two years ago. The rig has been modified to allow self tacking (no need to touch the sheets). Harvey is at present on a swinging mooring at Cargreen yacht club on the river Tamar, the mooring is free till th end of the year and there after available to rent subject to joining the yacht club. Included in the sale is a 2 meter Plastimo tender with oars and 2.5hp outboard.

Also For Sale 220 squrare foot Junk Sail complete with yard, boom and batterns, two 5 meter sections of new alloy tube to construct a mast (as per Bob Ager) and a mint copy of  \"Practical Junk Rig\" by HG Hasler and JK McLeod, £150 the lot (that less that the tubing cost)

 Hunter Liberty 22 No. 50 ‘Patone’

Professionally built in GRP by Hunter Boats in 1983 and displayed at the Earls Court Boat Show that year. Lightly used for day sailing in Solent in recent years and stored ashore for winter months. Can be viewed near Lymington, Hants. Wedgewood blue hull (VC treated below waterline) with off-white deck. Belmar galvanised trailer with winch, docking arms and launching trolley.  Transit mast supports.

 

Original  main and mizzen sails by Cranfield  in brown sailcloth in excellent condition. Slab reefing to both main and mizzen. Sail control lines including reefing lines led to cleats or jammers on coachroof and easily accessed from cockpit. Additional jib and mizzen staysail. Keel hoist re-routed to cockpit. Winch mounted on coachroof. New  professionally built rudder stock 2009.

 

Tohatsu 5HP two-stroke outboard (new 2005) with separate fuel tank,  sailpower prop and electric battery charging facility.

 

20lb plough anchor with chain and warp. Stainless steel swimming/boarding ladder.

 

NASA depth-sounder and log with cockpit display. Bilge pump. Mast tricolour and portable nav lights. Dark blue canvas dodgers.

 

Good quality  lined interior with 12v  lighting and sockets. Shore power with 13amp electric sockets and built in fan heater. Radio/ cassette player. Two single berths or one large double with bunk cushions. Built in kitchen area with stainless steel sink unit, hand-operated water pumps and plate/mug storage. Bunk cushions, blinds, wood-effect flooring and additional built-in storage. Gimballed stainless steel gas cooker with rings and grill. Gas safety tap and separate gas bottle storage locker  sited in original quarter berth area and vented to exterior. Fire blanket and extinguisher. Barometer and clock. Inspection ports to interior of bow compartment.  Additional  perspex spare washboard.

 

Recently repainted heads with instrument/fuse panels, ventilator and sea-toilet (not currently fitted).

 

Miscellaneous equipment including  gas bottle, fenders, warps, hand-bearing compass,  spare trolley and trailer wheels, antique Apelco GPS etc.
